Jimmy Kawaye is an Advisor for Spring Impact’s Scale Accelerator: Women’s Empowerment programme. He is passionate economic development specialist who has over 30

years of experience in working with donor agencies, embassies and INGOs in Malawi and South Sudan. He has led teams to design, implement, evaluate projects that have changed peoples lives across a number of sectors.

He is currently working with the Embassy of Ireland, Malawi, as an M&E and Results/Impact Adviser. He holds a Masters Degree in International Economics from University of Sussex (UK) and is a board member of a number of NGOs in Malawi. He is committed to eliminating poverty and economic injustices among the vulnerable and those that are furthest behind. Jimmy believes scaling up and replication of successful development interventions in Malawi and other countries in the SADC region is the step change needed to realise a significant impact on people’s lives.
